Kang Chan-hee (강찬희, カン・チャニ), also known as Cha Ni (찬희, チャニ), is a South Korean actor, singer, rapper and performer. He's a main dancer, rapper and sub-vocalist on SF9.
Kang Chan-hee was born on January 17, 2000 in Seo-gu, Daejeon, South Korea. He has a younger brother named Kang Suk-hee and his mother is named Park Seol-hee.
Prior to joining the entertainment industry, he first appeared in the music video of the song "Balloons" by group TVXQ! when he was 7 years old.[2] In 2009, he debuted as an actor as part of the TV drama Queen Seondeok.
In the group, he's very close with members Ro Woon and Hwi Young.
He's also very known for his character on the TV drama Sky Castle, as the drama had very well ratings.
He's the smallest member of the group.
He became a trainee since he was in primary 4.
He has been a trainee for 7 years.
He sleeps a lot.
He's not very good with memorizing anything related with numbers.
He can play the piano and violin.
He can't eat spicy food and hates mushrooms.
He isn't good with scary movies.
His role model is SHINee member Taemin. Cha Ni met him during his debut activities and sent Taemin an autographed copy of "Feeling Sensation" single and took photos with him.
He's the bravest member on the group.
He can reach the highest note in the group.
He wants to appear in a fried chicken commercial since he really loves chicken.
He won an art prize when he was younger.
On SF9, he's part of the Rapper line with Young Bin, Zu Ho and Hwi Young, and on the "jjaljjoleei" (짤쫄이) line with Tae Yang and Hwi Young.
He started an Instagram account on October 24, 2019, being the third member of having a personal social media account.[3]
